Fellow $LNTO shareholders —On August 12 the company posted that 25 million shares had been retired to treasury and that more than 100 million additional shares were “set to be retired in the coming week.” That follow-up has not shown up on their socials, and the OTC share count has not reflected a 100 million reduction.
The most likely reason is the Nevada court action, not silence for its own sake.Clark County District Court (Case No. A-26-942451-F, Profusion Investments, LLC v. Lelantos Holdings, Inc.) entered an injunction on August 28, 2026. It restrains Lelantos and anyone acting in concert with it — including transfer agent Empire Stock Transfer — from issuing, converting, transferring, or removing restrictive legends on LNTO shares.
A status check is set for October 27, 2026.If Empire is frozen from processing treasury movements, management can announce an intended retirement and still be unable to complete or publicly confirm the transfer-agent step until the injunction is lifted or clarified. That would explain the gap between the August 12 post and the lack of a socials update on the 100 million.
This is not a claim that the retirement is dead, and it is not legal advice. It is the simplest explanation that matches the public docket and the still-unchanged socials. Read the court filings yourselves. Next hard date on the calendar is October 27.
